I don't know about you guys but I think that Brian Grants Impact on the Suns is going to be huge during the playoffs if they want any hope. They don't have any big man besides Brian Grant and Kurt Thomas. But Thomas isn't going to be back untill the 3rd round. So who else is going to gaurd Tim Duncan. Which I know they won't see him untill the 3rd round but Thomas won't be 100% at that time. So what does everybody think?

Brian Grant does more damage then good for The Suns. Theres a perfect example in yesterdays game, The Lakers were up by around 20 when Brian Grant was on the court. As soon as he left, the lead dropped down to 11. According to 82games.com, when he's on the court, the production is 5.6 and the oppositions production is 21.8.

Well the Phoenix Suns are a fast pace team and like to run and Brian Grant isn't the fastest guu but during the playoffs everybody knows it will slow down a bit and Brian Grant will be more efficient to the Suns. I guarantee it. It will become more rough inside and they will need a big man to be down low and rebound and play the big guys.

Brian Grant = overpriced garbage. He won't help you anymore than he helps warm the bench.

Grant makes the veteran minimum this season!!!!!!!!!!! He has had some productive games when healthy. He has been especially useful against the Spurs and Pistons this year. Without any other reliable bigs, Grant has been a great signing.

    That is correct because:

    A). Brian Grant = dominant

    AND

[IMG]. What we say on this forum will effect the coaches decision to play him.

Thats a matter of opinion because I know for damn sure the Suns can't shut down Kobe.

Only because the Lakers are still paying for him.

Show me productive stats and I will take back anything and everything bad I said about him.

He was once a valuable big man, but now he is just a body on the floor. Then again sometimes all you need is a body on the floor.

Grant played much better against the Hornets the other night. He will be needed against the Spurs and even the Clippers (If we face them in the 2nd rnd.) Duncan and Brand.
We won't really need him much against the lakers, and as far as Kobe lighting us up-- it doesn't really matter, he lite us up all season but guess what: We were 3-0 against the Lakers when Nash played. I'll give you guys 1 game, maybe.

I agree. We might not beable to shut down Kobe but you need more than 1 player to win a championship and even a series. He's not going to beable to score 81 points every game in this series. Especially with Marion on him. Brian Grant will be affective during the playoffs. I promise you this. All we need from him is 6 points a night and 6 rebounds and he will have a big impact on the series. They probably won't play hiim to much during the Lakers series because Lakers aren't big either. But when we take on the Clippers or Spurs we wil definitely need a big man and Grant will step up to the challenge. That is why he gets paid the big bucks!!!!
