February 19Los Angeles Daily News: "Sunday evening, Kobe Bryant won over the glitziest - and definitely the strangest - crowd ever to watch an NBA All-Star Game, as he had 31points, six assists and sixsteals to earn MVP honors in the West's 153-132 victory over the East at the Thomas & Mack Center."http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_5257420
Nice to see Kobe getting some appreciation. Too bad ESPN doesn't think the same way because as I watched today the show "1st and 10" or something like that kept bashing Kobe for winning. It was incredible. They were saying that he should not have tried that hard and that there shouldn't be an MVP award for the all-star game blah blah blah. If Wade or LeBron had won they would have changed their tune.
Guess you guys didn't watch Rome Is burning where he said the transofrmation of Kobe and his image is incredible (and then went on to mention how his gear is top selling, winning fans over, MVP chants, becoming more team oriented, great leader, etc...). This isn't like 5 years ago, people are recognizing his greatness, but you can't expect everyone to ride his di*k.
