I just don't foresee Stotts as our long term coach. Should we be looking at Lionel Hollins, starting 2 of the 1977 World Champion Blazers, back home?

I am not a big fan of having 3 coaches in 3 years. Let's give Terry a little bit of a leash and see if he can get something going. He did not have a lot to work with this year.

Does Amtrak go here from Memphis?

I'm of the opinion that any coach who thinks they can put LMA in a Dirk-role is not good enough at coaching. Time to move on - especially when there are so many available coaches. Doesn't happen very often that you have such a large pool of coaching talent from which to choose.

It's coming from Olshey. That was one reason he hired Stotts--his experience with Nowitzki.

If that's true, I hope Olshey learned just how wrong he was after his first season with the team. If we're still banking on LMA succeeding in a Dirk-like role then, well, the only thing to look forward to for the next two seasons will be watching the development of Lillard and whoever we draft next week and next summer.

Correct. Aldridge has peaked. He can still put out 20 minutes of energy, only in the really big games, but that number will diminish. By age 30 he'll be down to about 12 minutes of stamina, only in the really big games.
