Fisher is a team player. With the Lakers' having major money issues right now, does anyone think Fisher will take a major pay cut to finish his career here? I'm talking like...$2 million/per or something like that?

    I'm thinking around 3 million.

He's going to have to take a paycut for sure though, and I really want him back after this postseason. Hope everything works out.

I want us to go after Steve Blake as well. A Blake/Fisher tandem at PG is very solid, shouldn't cost too much either.

The Lakers are going to gage his next contract based on what other teams are willing to offer him. I think the length of the contract is going to be more of an issue than the dollar amount. Fisher thinks he can play for another 5 seasons, but I'm sure they'd like to get him on a 2 year contract with a team option for the 2nd year.

I wonder if Kobe would be willing to restructure his deal to keep the talent around him?
