Well, the day is finally here. I still think the Broncos can run the ball well on this Colts team and win this game. One question will be how Plummer handles the game this time around and how Manning handles things if this game is tight. GO BRONCOS!!!
hmm it seems to me that the question is why did the broncos charter a plane to indiana, i mean it seemsit would have been a lot easier to contact fed-ex and just mail it in. broncos running game didnt matter, plummer's passing game didnt matter, peyton in close game, lets see how long was it close . . . I remember when it was over. . . "and the broncos take the field." You ahould have known bettter than to say "Indy will not win a playoff game." Manning is already a better QB than elway ever was.
All I can say is OUCH!! I thought that this would be the game of the week but instead this turned out to be the only blowout game of the week. I don't know what happened in two weeks to turn this team around. I am sorry for your loss BRONCOS fans and I know this one will sting for awhile but you will rebound next season and get back on track. PLUMMER will be a better QB for you and we all know what your running game can do. Will SHARPE return for you? I hope(unless he wants to come over to the BEARS) because he is fun to watch and one of the best in the game.
Heres a theory for you, based solely on my massive ego....Week 15, the Colts are stareing directly into a Wild Card game with the Miami Dolphins....The Broncos are without Portis and need a win to clinch a playoff berth, but have away games in Indy and GB....the Colts, during a team meeting, decide they want no part of the powerful Dolphins and decide to set up Denver as a playoff opponent by intentionally letting them blow them out....they figure not only will they get to play the weaker Broncos, but the Broncos will also be overconfident....the plan works perfectly as the Broncos travel to Indy brimming with confidence only to be hopelessly lost with the phrase "Manning takes the snap"....the Dolphins sit home and watch....The broncos join them "watching" in the next round....alright, Im done.......
That sounds about right beef...LOL Maybe the Broncos forgot to get up after laying down against the Packers, I don't know what went wrong. The game was a joke and an embarrassment. Oh, before I forget, can I borrow your bag Beef?
As soon as Fiedler is off the Dolphins roster, the bag is yours....and I have some extras for the fans of the team that sign Fiedler
I have not seen that bad of a whoopin' since the last time the Broncos & Colts played. FWIW, Peyton achieved a perfect QB rating which if memory serves in 158.3. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>BearsFan1 wrote: glenso, just a warning if, and its a big if, i would expect the DWO to be kicking. </div> The Dwo only kicks back when we've been unjustly accused. I, personally, can deal w/ both the Broncos and Colts. IMO, the media seems to think Plummer is all that. Further, I am not crazy about Shanahan. I was glad to see Peyton win a playoff game. Further, I was of the opinion that only Tennessee and possibly Denver could win in Foxboro. So, who's kicking now, brother?
I wouldn't think anyone would need kicked after that butt whippin'. Td4td will be cross-eyed until about April after watching that fiasco.
I'm buying Beef's theory! Very funny and conspiritorial. First Green Bay's "Tampering" with Nate Poole and now Indy "Throwing" the first Denver game. Let's take their draft picks! Is Beef ... Perry Mason or Angela Lansberry?
Given Beef's uncanny ability to look at any incident and see how the NFL sticks it to the DWO, I think he could only be one man under that bag.
Its not just the NFL, I can look anywhere and see a conspiracy designed to damage the DWO....Remember, im the same guy that posted that the World Trade Center disaster was performed by terrorist that wanted NE to win the Super Bowl....for those of you who dont know that theory, Ill repeat it...... Week one, Miami's playing great as they do early in the season and the Patriots are struggling, Bledsoe is playing like crap and the Patriots lose. Miami has a week 2 game at home against Buffalo sheduled( an easy win for the Dolphins at home in September, they dont lose in that situation at that time)...NE is sheduled to play Carolina, a team that opened the season with a win against Minnesota and is playing thier best football of the season....enter 9/11/01....the NFL postpones that week until after the season....now Miami plays Buffalo in Dec instead of January(major change for the Dolphins who suck in December), but the Patriots have a different QB and are on a major roll by the time they see Carolina who has now lost 14 straight games....Miami and NE finished with the same record that year 11-5, but NE won the tiebreaker, the division, got a bye, went to the Super Bowl and won the whole thing....what would be different if they play week 2 as it was scheduled??? NE was playing badly, Bledsoe was struggling, Brady was still an afterthought, and the Panthers were playing thier best FB of the season....could the Panthers had beaten the Pats that day??? We will never know I guess, but I think it had a substantial effect on the course of NFL history....things will never be the same!
