What does everyone think the Broncos should do this offseason?I think they need to get a more consistent RB as well as trade Plummer.I bet Plummer gets traded on draft day.

They'll probably take a RB as they do practically every year. They have to replace Darrent Williams.Maybe some help on either line. :whistling:

Trade Bell for a 3rd-4th rounder.Keep Plummer as the Vet backup.Replenish the O-line.Draft a future WR.Draft a replacement for Darrent Williams.Draft or sign a legit DE.Complete the LB corps by finding an OLB.That's about it for big things, of course little things can alwways use some tweaking.

LOL Vilma, you must hate me so much :LMAO:
Keep Plummer as the Vet backup.
I think he's already got a foot in the door in Houston.
    BRANDON "BABY T.O." MARSHALL
They'll likely bring in another corner, but I think theyre happy with what Foxworth can do.
    To replace who? Ian Gold?

Why would you want to replace one of the LBs?Gold, Williams, and Wilson not getting it done for you? They've probably the best LB core in the business.

Gary Kubiak deserves to get fired if he even considered benching Carr for Jake Plummer :whistling:

I think Plummer starting over Carr would be great.Plummer has shown that he and Kubiak work great together.Notice this year vs last. Plummer did great last year, Kubiak left, Plummer sucked.

Yeah, I don't see why starting Carr over Plummer would be so horrible. Carr can still use a better O-line and weapons, but I think his time may be up in Houston and the new coaching staff already gave him his shot.

Their offensive line wasn't any improved over last year, the only difference is that he was forced to get rid of the ball much quicker this year in Short High Percentage Routes because their Offensive Line couldn't block for him. Give him an actual O-line and he'd be a Top Half of the league QB IMO.

I agree completely, I'm a huge Carr fan. That doesn't mean they'd rather bring in Plummer though, because he just hasn't worked and when it comes down to it the blame usually goes onto the QB's shoulders.

QUOTE (Jon_Vilma @ Jan 14 2007, 04:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Trade Bell for a 3rd-4th rounder.Probably what will happen, and we'll keep Mike Bell to be a situational back for us and pick one up in the 2nd round or late rounds of the draft, I like Brandon Jackson from Nebraska as a mid-late rounder, or in Free Agency to be the main guy. Although I think Cecil Sapp should be given a chance to start next year.Keep Plummer as the Vet backup.Won't happen, the majority of Broncos fans hate Plummer. He wouldn't want to stay in a town that he's hated in as a back-up anyways..so he'll probably get traded to a team with a young quarterback like the Browns or Houston..there's also a chance he'll go to the Eagles or the Raiders even..Replenish the O-line.Our offensive line really was pretty bad this year..Lepsis and Nalen are getting old, so we'll need to either draft or find a young lineman or two to be possible replacements.Draft a future WR.Heard of Brandon Marshall? He is the future. But I think we'll draft receiver in the 5th-6th rounds just incase it doesn't work out for Marshall. I like Steve Smith from USC if he's there in the 5th.Draft a replacement for Darrent Williams.I don't think we need to draft a replacement for him, Dominique Foxworth I think can handle as a starter, or splitting time with Karl Paymah who played good when he had a chance. But it's likely that we'll draft a corner in the draft at some point.Draft or sign a legit DE.A major need for us, alot of the Broncos fans are wanting Marshawn Lynch at pick 21, but a guy who I think could help us is Quentin Moses. He fits the mold when I look at some DE's that Bates has coached, not bulky, pretty quick, tall..remember Jason Taylor? KG from Green Bay? Another guy that I like at 21 is Jarvis Moss...i'd be happy with basically any defensive end here. And I also think we'll draft another one in the 3rd round..Jay Moore, who was pretty much overshadowed by Adam Carriker'ss success.Complete the LB corps by finding an OLB.lolThat's about it for big things, of course little things can alwways use some tweaking.
I also think we'll look for a Safety at some point to take over for Lynch, hopefully in the 3rd round. A guy that i'm high on here is John Wendling from Wyoming. The next John Lynch?

I love Tatum.Keep Plummer as the Vet backup. Not gonna happen, we'll trade him away.Replenish the O-line.Agree with you here, our O-line was horrible and showed, for the first year, signs of age.Draft a future WR. [IMG] Do you watch the Broncos? If you have watched at most 2 games you would know Brandon Marshall is our future. The guy is gonna be amazing I think.Draft a replacement for Darrent Williams.Dominique Foxworth will replace him. He is a solid CB and hasn't done bad when he has had to play 2nd CB. Draft or sign a legit DE.Yea, but I think we shouldn't use our 1st rounder on him, Marshawn Lynch is who I want. Maybe get one out of FA or a 3rd rounder.Complete the LB corps by finding an OLB. [IMG] We have arguably the best linebacking core in the league in DJ, Al, and Gold.
I agree with Invesco in getting Wendling. I would not be surprised if he becomes the next John.

Personally, I think Brandon Jackson from Nebraska is going to be the Next Broncos Runningback in the Third Round.
