Bronny definitely belongs in D1. He’s more than enough talented to be there. I agree with most he doesn’t really have an NBA trajectory, but he’ll likely get an opportunity, at some point, because of his dad. Who knows? Maybe he takes steps forward and develops further in college and earns his place in the NBA, maybe he gets an opportunity because of his dad and he makes the most of it.

I haven’t seen enough of him, but he’s definitely worthy of D1 competition.

Maybe we get the Number 1 pick NEXT season…. Draft him and his dad joins and leads us to a championship?

Bronny would be lucky to learn from Altman...he's a great coach. Get in that Nike door at the same time!

Whose expectations? I mean, he certainly gets a lot of attention, but I've certainly not seen any significant analysts pushing him as a surefire pro or anything. I think he'll absolutely live up to expectations-- the expectations of him being a decent college player who probably wouldn't be good enough to get an NBA contract without the connection to his dad.

    Yeah that’s kinda what I was saying sir/ma’am. I said he’s a “D1 player for sure…NBA who knows”

This thread is a perfect example. I can't even imagine the pressure this kid must be feeling at times. Then at the end of the day he has a bunch of support. Could you imagine being in High School and not having the kind of support he has though?

I got that. You also said "There's no way he'll live up to expectations," as though there are a ton of people that are saying he'll be more, which...there aren't.

The media regularly reporting on him pushes expectations. Just another example of how media controls most everything.
Just the thought of drafting him to get his father further excels expectations. Expectations to get into college and get drafted into the nba.

oh i feel for the kid, but ive never seen any player of their skillset get sooo much attention… if it weren't for who his father is.

You sir are correct. He can thank his pops for having the largest NIL out there at 7.4M a season!!!! Bo Nix at Oregon has 1.5M to put it into context.

Should I have said “Live up to the pressure of being LeBron’s kid”?

Perhaps--those are two entirely different things. I think there was a reason both of Jordan's sons ended up quitting basketball and pursuing other employment avenues.

I swore one of them played in college, but I get your point.

If Bronny's shot continues to develop, it'll certainly change his playability. Impressive performance yesterday.
