Even though Brooks is a moron. He's right in this case. Wondering why our thickheaded coach continues to put Girardi on the first pairing.

Dump, for the past couple of years there has been no reasonable explanation with regards to AV's love affair and use and overuse of girardi while having better options available to him. Unfortunately, Klein has been just as bad or worse than girardi if you can believe that this season. The right side of our defense is total shit. Even with our injured guys back on offense I think the rangers are looking at a wild card at best. Hopefully, that will be enough to get our gum chewing coach with the edict that the team play softer than a babies ass with no repercussions for running our players fired .

AV is starting to make the same, stubborn, brainless moves that got Torts fired. Torts next season will be a disaster and his team will revolt against him. That is his history. AV is getting dumber each season. Same as Torts.

They definately need some defenseman upgrades or it's going to be tough to do anything in the spring. Staal actually has been ok this year but Kleins regression injury or not has hurt some. Skjei is on his way to being outstanding but they need offensive help back there. The Faulk idea isn't bad or even a lesser guy like Wideman for the rest of the year. For Faulk you'd probably be looking at 1st, Halverson, Lindberg type move. Maybe a bit more like a Gropp.

I think for Faulk they would want Hayes as they lack size up front and Hayes to me still doesn't fit this system. I think Halverson, Hayes and Staal or Klein would be close. I think Halverson has a chance to be a very good, NHL goalie. Question is whether you think he will be better than Shesterkin. I don't think Clark does. The fact Zborovskiy is a righty and has exploded is a huge lift to our defense core. That will be huge down the line.

We are much deeper at wing than we are at C, if we deal Hayes there is not a legitimate 3C ready to take over this year. Unless you move Miller back there but he is showing himself to be a much better winger than C. Maybe Nieves can take it next year but I'd worry about that hole for this year.

Doesn't matter. Team has shown it doesn't have a top 4 on defense capable of stopping any top team in the league.

The way Shestorykin is looking and being touted I'd definately keep him. But these things are fluid.

Wouldn't be surprised if Vigneault gets canned by the end of this week.

What grit. This team needs a complete overhaul on defense. AV teams are not build on grit.

Holden has been a huge steal for the deal he's on.

At this point any 2 points is huge. Team really misses Zibanejad.

Miller was horrific the first half of this game. Needs to get his head out of his ass. One team to look at is Detroit. They stink. That team needs to commit to a total rebuild. They are going nowhere and their farm blows. However, if you asked me the one player I think is a Ranger soon. Michael Stone. 26, righty, defenseman on the horrible Yotes. Rangers and Yotes seem to make deals. Rumored to have one almost done in the off-season. He's a UFA next season. Doubt Staal would accept a deal there. Would like not to trade Klein for him as 2 righties not named Girardi would balance out the top 4. They badly need a near NHL ready goalie prospect as well. Perhaps Halverson and Lindberg for Stone. Bring up Nieves to play the 4th line. Then you can start sitting Girardi some games, Staal some games, Klein some games until you figure out your next move. I think Yotes do this. If Stone has any clue he's not signing with the Yotes. He'll waste his career.

I was wrong about holden in the beginning of the season. He seems like he can be a very serviceable d-men for a few years. Still not sure though, if he can be a top 4 d-men that can shut down top guys on the other teams in the playoffs.

Roy loved him and he hates most people. Some Av's fans thought he was asked to do way too much. At the least, he could be dealt for a really nice pick or prospect in the off-season. He's on a great contract. I would not be surprised to see him return a 2nd and a 3rd in next years draft.
