If this is true, and Mem agrees to send OJ (funny seeing he has the namesake of another crazy athlete) to the Nugs, does this give us the opportunity to snag Smith?

I know I wasn't around to speak up about it the first time Smith was mentioned as a Bull, but... boy, I really don't like that idea too much.

I'd sure like to see a Rose/OJ back court, but Denver has expiring contracts and can bring in any third team they want.

Nothing confirmed, and talks are in infant stages right now (according to article on espn now) and does this prove that we've waited too long to try and get an upgrade at the 2 or that we're not in a rush to upgrade since we're still winning with the lineup we have?

I think this team should take on a player that's a good lockeroom presence who has a blemished history (Jackson), or a good player who's not working out in his situation, perhaps for actual character reasons (OJ May). Smith is a legit crazy-ass cancer who does not fit in either of those categories.

of all of the names rumored to the Bulls at the SG position, other than S Jackson, Mayo would be the most likely of all to help the Bulls long term. Smith is a head case. Bulls couldn't ship him out fast enough the first time!

I could see Mayo going to Denver
