<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit Pistons head coach Larry Brown received the fine for comments critical of the referees after a 86-83 loss to Minnesota earlier this week.

Brown complained after Monday?s game about a block by Minnesota's Eddie Griffin that he thought should have been called goaltending. Brown also said the officials missed several over-the-back fouls by the Timberwolves.

Brown called the officiating "a joke." </div>

I think that is a horrible move by Stern. 35,000 dollars is way too much for just complaining about the officitiating.

So how does Brown get fined more than Randy Moss did for mooning the Packers' crowd?

I honestly think Stern has taken a lot of heat this year, and may be starting to lose it.

yeah this is outrageous, $35,000? far too much, $5,000 would've been more appropriate, especially since he only said the officiating was "a Joke"
