Old news this, but I noticed it hadn't been posted. Great to see another guy get a chance in Seattle. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SEATTLE (AP) -- The Seattle SuperSonics signed journeyman forward Andre Brown to a contract for the rest of this season Thursday. Brown joined the Sonics on Jan. 5 and signed a pair of 10-day deals. Because of NBA rules, the Sonics had until Thursday to either sign Brown for the remainder of the season or release him. Brown has provided a boost off the Sonics' bench while playing in seven games and averaging 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds. Coach Bob Hill said earlier this week he wanted Brown around for the rest of the season. Before joining the Sonics, Brown was leading the NBA Developmental League in scoring at 22.8 points for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The 6-foot-9 Brown was also second in the league in rebounding at 10.8 per game and was named the D-League player of the month in December. Brown played his college ball at DePaul and was in training camp with the Atlanta Hawks before being cut in late October. He has also played overseas in Italy, Serbia and Montenegro, the Philippines and South Korea.</div> Link.
