    to draft Sam Bradford.

Not sure how I feel about this.

I hate the idea of giving up a plethora of picks (7 picks in the first 5 rounds) for an unproven QB whom we WILL have to shell out major cash for. This is totally different from the Brady Quinn situation because unlike Quinn, Bradford flopping would set back this franchise for 5-6 years.

On the other hand, as much as I love Eric Berry and his Ed Reed potential, I LOVE Sam Bradford. I mean, i'm truly convinced that this guy is special. His deepfield accuracy is only matched by Kurt Warner who was truly special. Not to mention this guy just gets it done with his nice midfield passes, poise and quick release. At 6'5' 235 lbs, his big(and newly added muscle) body will be a plus on a team with no real receiving threats.

I always though Quinn was going to be a decent QB at best and as much as other Browns fans at _______board have said he was gonna be great, I always knew he didn't have that poise and quick release the truly great QBs do. Sam Bradford has that.

Not to mention, Holmgren has a great eye for QBs. If experts like he and Tom Heckert say Bradford is something special, who are we to argue?

Browns desperately need to find their groove, a QB would do the job. I agree with you, no Clausen. Clausen only gets attention because hes from Notre Dame..

I'd love McCoy too, actually. I think whoever gets him will get someone who COULD pan out like Drew Brees.

Not to mention we wouldnt have to break the bank for him. If the Browns don't trade up, he's actually the #1 choice in the 2nd round.

But at the same time, I like the idea of getting the QB with the best combination of poise/accuracy since Peyton. Not saying he'll be as good, but still.

Risky move. High risk/high reward. Personally, I think Bradford will be money @ the next level, but the shoulder injury is a bit concerning.

I've heard so many bad things from Clausen including his holier-than-thou persona. I think he'll be an average-slighty above average QB at best.

Also, he really bulked up and wasn't that soft kid we saw three years ago so that should help when playing in the NFL. He went from 218 to 235 muscle. The rehab went real well and apprently he's worked on more footwork/pocket release.

    To be honest,

a big fear I have is if the Browns DON'T trade up to that #1 pick AND miss out on Eric Berry.

That would ruin these couple month's worth of waiting.

For me, it's only Bradford or Berry in the first round.

Some people were saying Joe Haden and even Earl Thomas. I don't mind Earl Thomas all too much, but I see Berry being a better pick.

Also, I've played against Joe Haden first hand back in high school. He defended me himself, and I can tell you right now, he'll be good, but not Eric Berry good.
