I feel he is bring alot of uncertainty where this team is going to go in the future by that i mean will he let us become a champion ship team once again or will he let us fall to the very bottom of the NBA. With we have been going in the wrong direction and will continue on the road to competitive none championship road.
ranter doesn't give two nuts about this franchise. this is just something that he can make money off of and get his name out there to make a boatload of money. i can understand we got an owner who knew about nba and wanted to move the team,but to have an owner who knows nothing about basketball and is going to p*ss on this franchise just to make a buck makes me sick. he's going to convert me back to a hardcore baseball fan instead of stay a hardcore basketball fan. for the next 4-5yrs, whoever long the nets are in NJ he wont want to put money into the team b/c he doesnt care about NJ. Brooklyn is what he is building for and for the people of brooklyn not building for NJ b/c whatever money he puts in now,those players will probably not be around in 4-5yrs when the move happens, except kmart and rj b/c they are young and talented. he wants to save the money so he can use it for a new arena and then can spend money, unless he still knows nothing about basketball 5yrs down the road, for brooklyn to be successful there. new jersey is just basically renting the nets for the next 4-5yrs. i would hope we can at least have 1more shot at an nba title in the next 4-5yrs b4 the move. i would hate for our 1st title to be won in NY when they are just taking all the benefits of this franchise being turned around. NY might as well take the Devils too since the rangers/islanders are crap just like the knicks. *dam i get heated when ratners name comes up*
Ratner perverts the nba byt taking the Net and moving them and not wanting to put money into a team that is great. But just needs to be refurbished from time to time. Why couldnt we have an owner like Cuban, the dudes that own sacremento, or even the guy that owns the wolves, or even jerry buss
the maloof brothers are awsome. i hope me and my bro could be that successful and own and nba team when we are older. they got the life. if they bought the nets and moved them to Vegas, i wouldnt mind about the move b/c i know they would put money into the nets to try and win a ring. they want to win. not too sure about ratner. or even if the maloofs moved the nets to ny or anywhere i wouldnt have that big of a problem b/c they want to win. and as a fan you know if the front office wants to win and has the money, you should win a title or even multiple titles.
