Just curious what you think about Brunell being brought in and ramsey getting sent to the bench. personally I think its a mistake but would like to see a skins fans point of view.

Ramsey is still young, and still has a little more to learn. I think with Brunell leading this team will be a big step for Ramsey. It's always good to have a veteran show you the ropes. Anyway if Brunell starts to go down hill Ramsey can defenitley lead this team. Give him another year or two, Ramsey will be a big name QB.

I have to agree with above - Gibbs wanted an old fashion QB to bring this team back to reality first. He has proven over the years he can win with a serviceable QB - hell, Rip won a Superbowl and he at best was a journeyman.

Ramsey has upside, and Gibbs will either bring it out or move on quickly. I am thinking he will improve, but first you have to get rid of the ol' ball coach's crap and get the kid back on track. Hopefully the O line will be better this year - at least enough to let the QB piss on Monday without pain.

This is assuming that Ramsey doesn't get pissed about losing his starting job. Unfortunately in today's NFL, there isn't a whole lot of patience on the part of the players.

I also was never that impressed with Brunell. I know he has stats, but I've never really seen him take his team on his shoulders. Maybe I just haven't watched him enough.

I just thought ramsey played exceptional for having no coach no line and no running game...well till the sacks started taking its toll. I'm just curious to see him with some help and you know they have a running game now and gibbs is a great coach that will improve that line immediately through scheme alone nevermind his ability to teach technique is superior to spurrier anyday of the week.

Oh yeah thats right. I dont think that Brunell is good. His veteran skills arent anything if he lost his spot to somebody with no experience.

Gibbs wants experience maybe he should of picked up Kerry Collins.....wait he lost his spot to a Rookie and Warner.......Meh, maybe Brunell was a good investment. But in the end i would start Tim Hasselbeck..... Just Kidding....... I dont even care about this Topic.

actually collins did not lose his spot to Eli or Warner, when the Giants got Eli, collins said he wanted a long term contract, the Giants, knowing that Eli is their future wouldnt do it. so collins asked to be released. then the giants needing someone to tutor Eli brought in Warner, and thats the story. Also if you dont care about the topic why did you bring it up in the first place, especially since this happened like 5 months ago

I didnt really bring it up, I just wanted to put in an input, even though it wasnt much of an input. I could still talk about the signings though, even though it was a while ago.
