Fabian Brunnstrom who is 26-year-old, appearing in four games for the Red Wings (0G-1A-1P) and two games for the Griffins (1G-1A-2P) thus far on the 2011-12 campaign, his first with the organization ?. recording an assist and two penalty minutes, The Jonstorp, Sweden, native was previously assigned to Grand Rapids on Oct. 31, scoring a goal in his only game as a Griffin on Nov. 2 before being recalled by Detroit Red Wings on Nov. 5. He totaled 41 points (17-24-41) in 82 career AHL games and 41 points (19-22-41) in 103 career NHL contests. He became the 119th Griffins alumnus to appear in an NHL game in the Red Wings’ 5-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Nov. 5.
