Bryant & Odom lo guys, i?m from germany and i really love nba and especially LA. Recently i read that while bryant and odom are both on court LA can not win.Can u tell if that is really true cause here in germany they do not transmit any games?. In addition i?m really dissapointed about the whole situation on the team.Kobe has to do everything on his own because he doesn?t get any support by his teammates.I really don?t know why LA has not traded brian Grant in my eye?s that?s just a waste of money. hope to get some answers.
Welcome to JBB. You might not be able to watch the games, but there are online broadcasts of Laker basketball ... http://www.kvtaam1520.com/listenlive.asp http://www.warpradio.com/popTuner.asp?id=796 http://marconi.in-con.com:8000/listen.pls As for your question, so far Kobe and Odom have not been able to establish a chemistry. Their play together has been inconsistent, but there have been a lot of factors contributing to that. When Odom first came to the Lakers he was devastated from the Miami trade. He thought he would be part of the future in Miami with Dwayne Wade, and was not thrilled about returning to Los Angeles, after all the offcourt miscues he had as a Clipper. From the start Odom looked lost on the team and was not used to playing off the ball. In Miami the offense ran through Odom, but in LA, the offense was being run through Kobe. With a new coach, Rudy T, everyone on the Lakers had to adopt to a new system. This takes time for players to learn and get comfortable with. Since Kobe and Odom were both new to Rudy T's style of basketball it slowed their chances of developing a chemistry. Once Kobe got injured, Lamar became the number 1 option again, and looked a lot more comfortable in that role. Unfortunately, Rudy T stepped down, and the Lakers then decided to bring back the Triangle Offense. Yet another adjustment for Lamar to get used to. While Kobe was injured, he agreed Lamar and the Lakers could be more effective if the offense ran through Lamar. However, Lamar has been getting into early foul trouble since the All-Star Break, and he's spent a lot of time watcing instead of being on the court with Kobe. Finally, Lamar has been playing out of position the entire season. Right now, it's still early to judge if this duo will work. With more time to practice in the off-season, I expect to see an improvement in the team and with Kobe and Odom learning to play with each other.
shapecity or anyone else can u tell me why LA did not required Wade from Miami for Shaq?? Butler and Odom ain?t that bad and even try to help the team but just look at Grant. He?s just making 3.5 ppg and only 4.0rpg anf that for a guy this size. ridiculous !!!
