<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Monday, the plan for Kobe Bryant is to put in some extra work in practice, to work on his jump shot that betrayed him so badly Sunday against the Houston Rockets. Bryant missed 22 of his 33 shots, all four of his three-pointers. He scored 24 points, but it was a bad shooting night for Bryant. He said his shot was flat and that caused him to miss so many jumpers. ``I’ve got to get in the gym, put a little more arch on the ball and I’ll be fine,’’ Bryant said. With Pau Gasol out with a moderated sprained left ankle, the Lakers need Bryant's production. They also need Bryant to play more, just like the 47 minutes, 4 seconds he played against Houston. What the Lakers also need is a more efficient Bryant. ``He’s not going to have to shoot this often,’’ Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. ``But he’s going to have to play every game.'' Bryant was 2-for-10 in the fourth quarter. He looked to rush his shot and took some that were tough to make. Jackson was asked of Bryant's 33 shot attempts were too much. ``I thought he took some that were a little bit difficult down the stretch, trying to get the team back in it,’’ Jackson said.</div> http://www.beloblog.com/Pe_Blogs/prosports...lakers/#a194889 Always working, always trying to improve
I think everyone forgets that he's playing with a thumb injury that 99.9% of the league would've had surgery on. I don't get too frustrated with his off shooting nights. I do like, however, that he is working on improving it.
erm... it looked to have worked during the dallas game... and then kobe went ice cold in the 2nd half

The Man got the job done, he did more than enough to secure the win. People like Fisher need to learn their damn roles.
Why does it read "Bryant will head to gym to improve jumper," not, "Walton will head to gym to improve jumper?" Some people just want it more than others I guess, some are just in it for the money

Odom's also been working on his free throws (which is how he nailed the crucial ones in Dallas). So Kobe's work ethic is rubbing off. http://www.dailynews.com/ci_8608813?source=rss
