Bucks 113 Mavs 111, OT Grades: Bogut Blocks Mavs Comeback

The Mavs fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book, the Bucks were playing without leading scorer Michael Redd, so of course Milwaukee would just roll over and play dead, right? Fine, except a few other young Bucks came to play, like Texas bred T.J. Ford. Rookie first round pick Andrew ?Who?s Kobe?? Bogut wasn?t too shabby either with 19 points and 14 rebounds which was just enough to outplay the Mavs? veteran wunderchild, Dirk, who ended up with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jason Terry was outstanding and had a chance to tie the game as time expired, but somehow his floater got blocked by Andrew ?Dirk Who?? Bogut.

Johnson: C, Life without Josh is turning into a real drag, especially when top assistant doesn?t come up with the play to save the day.

Nowitzki: D, Even Dirk admitted he was terrible last night claiming he was the Buck?s ?sixth man?. When you get out played by a scrawny rookie from Australia, you really can?t argue with him. +15

Powell: C, Josh got his chance to emulate the other Josh on this team but just proved he has a ways to go. Zero turnovers. +4

Dampier: C, The second best center in the league barely won a decision against Magloire. Either Erick was playing down to his competition or Magloire was playing up to Erick. +13

Daniels: B, One of Marquis better overall performances to the point that I forgot another of Doug?s favorite signs to Jackie. Daniels backed up Jason?s efforts with 21 points on 9-14 from the field. +23

Terry: B+, Jason turned in a back-to-back stellar performance leading the Mavs with 37 points. Zero turnovers. +31

Van Horn: B-, With Dirk subbing in as the sixth man for the Redd-less Bucks, Keith delivered 14 points. Probably would have had more if he could have stayed out of foul trouble. +15

Harris: C-, Devin took a step back tonight, getting 11 points but taking 14 shots to get there. The 1 to 1 assist to turnover ratio is something to forget quickly as well.

Diop: C, DeSagana again fought hard but again was limited by foul trouble. Diop again had 3 blocked shots to go with 4 rebounds in 24 minutes. Zero turnovers. +7

    Armstrong : C, Essentially a DNP-CD with only a few minutes.

    Griffin: DNP-CD.

    M?Benga: DNC-CD.

    Marshall : DNC-CD.

Howard: DNC-CD, Josh is out for the next few weeks with the ankle sprain suffered in the closing minutes of the Memphis loss.

Podkolzin: DNC-CD, Pavel had surgery to repair his right foot and ankle and is expected to miss three to four months.

Stackhouse: DNP-CD, Jerry was inactive, out with a sore knee that continues to swell.
