I went to the Bucks Christmas Party before the game on Tuesday and Bucks GM Larry Harris said this about TJ Ford. He said T.J. was having an exam and MRI in Milwaukee on January 14. Then he would head out to Los Angeles and be examined by the doctor who performed the surgery. IF everything checks out Ford will finally be able to pick up a basketball and start practicing. But even then it would be awhile before he would be able to play. So the key date is January 14. If Ford is still not cleared to play after the next exam, chances are good he's out for the year.
