MILWAUKEE -- Michael Redd and Mo Williams scored 26 points each and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 109-90 on Saturday night to snap a seven-game losing streak.

Redd started strong and Williams, who finished 10-of-13 from the field including 5-of-7 from 3-point range, helped finish off Philadelphia, which has now lost five of six despite getting Andre Iguodala back on track.

Iguodala, averaging 17.4 points, scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half and went 9-of-18 from the field. Samuel Dalembert added 15 points, Willie Green scored 11 and Andre Miller had 10 points and 11 assists for the Sixers.

Milwaukee won for just the second time in 13 games and is 4-22 since Jan. 1. The Bucks erased a 12-point first-half deficit and began to steadily pull away in the third, with Redd scoring 11 points and Williams adding 10 in the quarter.

A 3-pointer and a 12-foot jumper by Williams gave Milwaukee a 79-68 lead as the Bucks finished 13-of-22 from the field in the third. </div>

Bogut had 9 points on 4/8 shooting.

Here's an interesting list. Andrew Bogut has 540 shot attempts this season. The following are the names of players who have more shot attempts than him - look at it and and ask yourself if these guys should be shooting more often than the #1 pick in last year's draft.

Chucky Atkins, Rasual Butler, Smush Parker, Mark Blount, Raja Bell, Jamaal Tinsley. Wow. Bogut ranks 77th in the league in shots attempted. Terry Stotts, I swear to God in heaven, GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL!

Chucky Atkins, "point guard"... [IMG]... [IMG]... [IMG]

You have a point, and I haven't seen many Bucks games this year (because for some reason the networks think we're more interested in seeing Miami-Phoenix-San Antonio-Los Angeles every night), but don't you think that some of the blame has to fall on Bogut as well? He's coming out of a system in Utah where he touched the ball every time down the floor, so he's not used to having to demand touches. Maybe he should just be more vocal.

Dude, that is a shame Bogut is still not given the opportunity to make more shots. The guy has skill, why draft him number one and not build around him? Stotts must be a complete moron.

You're right, VC, that Bogut does shoulder some of the blame. He's not soft; he willingly takes charges and gets tough rebounds more than he's given credit for. However, he gets tentative when he's not involved in the offense. The Bucks are trying to run too often, which limits his effectiveness as a scorer. Bogut is also an extremely skilled passer - he's really improved in that aspect, and seems just as skilled as people had hoped coming out of school.

If the Bucks would just settle the hell down and run a couple of halfcourt sets, Bogut would just flourish. When we run our offense with him involved, i.e high post screen and pops, backdoor cuts with him passing from outside the paint, he gets in a groove and knocks down shots, all while becoming a dangerous playmaking option. Stotts doesn't even try to use the pick and roll, and I haven't got a friggin clue why. Bogut is a natural - come on, you get him and a scoring point like Mo Williams together, they could make sweet music running that stuff, and Redd waiting on the wing.

Stotts truly has no idea how to use Bogut; he wants to play a pace that's too fast for Bogut to be effective. Think of it like this (and I'm not comparing Bogut to Timmah, because Timmah > * ): do the Spurs make the running game a priority, even with Tony Parker, Brent Barry, Manu? No, they understand how to run their offense through their multi-talented big man. Stotts hasn't gotten it through his skull that Bogut isn't a wing player - he's at his best operating in the paint and playing a key role in the offense, not just looking to get a jumper 8 seconds into the shot clock.
