ESPN - In the wake of the season-ending knee injury sustained by starting tailback Carnell "Cadillac" Williams last Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have inquired about the availability of Minnesota Vikings backup Mewelde Moore to bolster their backfield, sources from both teams confirmed. The Vikings have requested a first-day draft pick for the fourth-year veteran -- a price tag Tampa Bay considers exorbitant. For now, the two sides likely won't pursue a deal, but that could change before the Oct. 16 trade deadline.
http://www.realgmfootball.com/src_wiretap_..._vikings_moore/

Wow the NFL trade deadline is coming up already and it feels like the season is only beginning. Anyways it would be a nice pickup for the Bucs as Moore is seldomly used in the Vikings offense as they have stud RB rookie Adrian Peterson and Chestor Taylor so the price shouldnt be too high.

The Vikings have the leverage, they have the player the Bucs want and Tampa Bay is doing well, even with him being injured, so they might feel the need to make a move to keep it going. I expect something to get done just before the deadline, if not Minnesota, they'll find somebody else.
