The biggest storyline for Colorado heading into spring football practice suddenly has become a non-story. At least for the immediate future. Quarterback Nick Hirschman, who was expected to be locked in a tight quarterback competition with Texas transfer Connor Wood, will now miss all of spring ball after breaking a bone in his foot.
