The Magic have lost every single game this season that they've played against the Hornets, a team they've had problems with dating back to the first round of the 2002 playoffs. http://www.nba.com/games/20040117/ORLNOH/recap.html
As usual, when T-Mac scores big, the Magic lose. Someone else really needs to get into the act. Juwan and Gooden are both so inconsistent, it's not funny.
Looked to me like Mcgrady should of got two shots at the end of the game, which would of likely won it.

Juwan has been helpful in their wins and closer losses. He's been known to pop for 20 and 10 easily one night, but struggle to get 6 and 6 the next.
"Tracy hogs the ball" Excuse me? McGrady is a team player, it's not his fault his teammates can't knock down the shots. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Tracy had another good scoring game, but in doing so proved that bball is definitely a team sport. </div> Very true, but who else can score for the Magic? He almost took the game for his team. The refs swallowed their whistle during the final seconds. When his teammates don't show up, he does it all. Remember the Denver game? He dropped 51 because his teammates weren't there. Drew Gooden had a career night against Boston scoring 32 points. The very next game he scored 7 points on 3-10 shooting. He has the talent but he is too inconsistent. (Much like the entire Magic roster) Juwan Howard has the same problem. He struggled during the beginning of the season and has slightly turned things around. Gordan Giricek has been struggling as well. He's capable of knocking down the open jumpers but he's missed a lot of them as of late. Keith Bogans brings great defense and energy to the table, but thats about it. He can't become the #2 scorer for the Magic because offense isn't his strong point. McGrady talks way too much, but he still does the same thing every night.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice Breaker:</div><div class="quote_post">"Tracy hogs the ball" Excuse me? McGrady is a team player, it's not his fault his teammates can't knock down the shots. </div> Ice, it takes more than passing to really be a 'team player.' You've gotta really want your teammates to excel and get the spotlight once in a while, and Tracy can't seem to stand his 'mates getting the spotlight. Saying that its his teammates fault that they're losing is one thing, and i won't argue to say that he has a really solid supporting cast. But they're better than the record indicates, and thus I'd say the fault lies with Tracy, the apparent superstar. Drew IS inconsistent, but I'd wager that that has at least as much to do with his own inconsistent shooting as it does Tracy's inconsistent finding of Gooden in games. The game vs. Boston Tracy wasn't feeling his shot, the next game he was so he didn't look for Gooden. And that's not how it should work, at least not with a team player. And Juwan Howard is a proven star in the league, and although his not producing regularly has to do with not fitting with the entire team, Tracy again isn't free of blame. The bottom line is that Tracy has enough supporting players around him in Howard, Gooden, Giricek and Lue that he should be able to win more games. I'd say that before, Darrell Armstrong was the real leader of the team, and his release was the biggest offseason mistake of the team. Tracy isn't just not a team player, he's not a leader, or at least none of his teammates will follow him, which is just as bad. And if he doesn't look to get all his teammates involved, no one can blame them for not following Tracy. So I maintain that Tracy's not a team player.
