Our bench is really hurting us, that much is obvious. Mirotic has been mostly down all season. Portis has regressed. Valentine is not aggressive enough, yet. Canaan is not consistant. Ditto on Grant as well. Mcdermott and Carter-Williams injuries have hurt this team. I think with both healthy we could have a little better record than we do now. Maybe 3 more wins. We had 9 new players. Nine. With two important rotational players hurt, we have yet to see what we really have. Wade and Butler can do only so much.
Bulls bench is just terribly in athletic. Hell, McDermott might be the best athlete of the lot. I can appreciate that the game is more than just running and jumping, but the Bulls bench is an unusually "below the rim" collection.
