<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MIAMI -- At practice a few days ago, Big Ben Wallace worked on his free throws.

    By bouncing them.

The 6-foot-9-inch Bulls center toed the line, caressed a basketball and one-hopped it off the hardwood toward the hoop. In it went.

Wallace bounced a second free throw. In it went. Then a third. In it went.

OK, so no way he would dare try this in a game, even if Wallace is the NBA's worst free-throw shooter?worse than Shaquille O'Neal.

But, whoa! In Sunday's 92-79 series-icing Bulls playoff victory, was that Big Ben knocking down those charity shots one after the other?

When the hard-up Miami Heat resorted to a Hack-a-Ben strategy in the fourth quarter, Wallace put the game and series in those oven-mitt hands of his. He became a marksman at the line?Steve Nash, Calvin Murphy and Rick Barry rolled into one.</div>

Wallace can actually shoot free throws. By stats, he is by far the worst free throw shooter in the NBA, but in actuality, he can shoot free throws pretty damn well.

If he would learn to relax at the line during game time, he could easily pull up his stats.

From the practices they've shown in Chicago Ben Wallace is actually a very good free throw shooter. Just that when it comes to game time he suffers. Yesterday however was a different story. It was hilarious watching him try to run away from three Heat players to avoid being fouled.

Just like they say he knocks down three pointers during practice. Don't know why he's so bad during games. Lol, it was pretty funny seeing him run, before he knocked down the free throws I was yelling for him to run backcourt to take more time out.
