Who should the Bulls draft? I'm really hoping for Tyrus Thomas, we need a big man. Remember the Bulls have the Knicks first rounder as a result of the Eddie Curry trade
I’m really hoping we get Lamarcus Aldridge with the first pick, the Knicks pick, then with ours take a shooting guard who has some height, or just the best available player. Thomas’ game is based too much on potential to me. Not to mention it will take him a couple years to develop his offensive game. I don’t think Thomas/Chandler in the front court would give us the inside scoring we need. Lamarcus Aldridge already has a big range shot he can hit, and a more polished offensive game. I’m actually hoping we land in the second spot in the draft and not the first, because the Blazers have said if they land in number one they will probably take Tyrus. That will make Paxson’s choice a lot easier. Also Thomas is only 6’9” despite the possibility he might grow, he fact remains he is only 6’9” so he is very undersized.
I doubt Tyrus comes to Chicago because of the Al Harrington rumors, if they're true theres no point in drafting him, the player I do see being in a bulls uniform though is LaMarcus Aldridge, he'd come into the picture perfect situation for himself and for Chicago him and Tyson Chandler could alternate and compliment each others game's well. They're would be a drop off in offensive fire power when Aldridge was off and Chandler on but Defense would be picked up so no need to worry.
i dont know much bout college ball and hence the draft, but from what i hear, aldridge seems the best pick for the bulls, i odnt want 2 chandlers
