Bull's-eye on Giants' back in talented NL West

Often dismissed and seldom hyped heading into the regular season, the National League West always seems to make it interesting at the end. It's the only division in baseball that can boast all of its members reaching the playoffs in the past five years, and now it's home to the defending World Series champions, the San Francisco Giants.

Entering 2011, the division can claim a few Cy Young candidates, two of the top five returning vote-getters for the NL Most Valuable Player award -- both from the same team -- and the encore to a Rookie of the Year-winning campaign.

But, when it comes to preseason expectations, not much has changed. Even Giants manager Bruce Bochy had to admit at the outset of Spring Training that the Phillies, with the return of Cliff Lee, have to be considered the favorite in the NL.
