However, Gordon leads rookies in free-throw percentage and three-point accuracy and is having more success from the team standpoint as his Bulls are presently playing on pace to make the playoffs. He also has hit six game-winning baskets. ''Ben could end up leading the rookies and leading our team in scoring,'' Bulls center Eddy Curry said. ''And if we make the playoffs, that certainly should be taken into consideration and should make him rookie of the year.''</div> Source
ben gordon is good. he is one major factor of the bulls playoff push. even during their UConn days, i always thought he was overshadowed by emeka. it's good to see that he's getting his due.
In my honest opinion I can tell you that Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor are the two top candidates for ROY honors this year. Don't forget that Ben is also a top runner for the sixth man award. However, remember that the team's performance that you play for does not effect the league's decision for ROY honors, it's pretty much all about peformance and statistics for this catagory.
I belive Ben Gordon deserves both awards mentioned above but I think he will get sixth man and Okafor will recieve the ROY Honor.
