Good to see the Bulls end their short skid and go back above .500. I'm expecting most of the season to be like this with the Bulls hanging around .500 and hitting streaks along the way. Overall it was a good win and both Deng and Curry had good games. Deng had 3 points and 11 Rebounds and Curry went 10/14 for 23 points and 5 Rebounds.
Deng was very impressive scoring 30 points, and Curry showed some great athelticism on some of his dunks, very fun to watch this team!!!
I watched the last part of the second quarter, and Chandler was very impressive. He first hit a 180 reverse layup, then a dunk off a miss, and right after that possession, he went back up again off a missed shot and slammed it down whilst airborne. He had Eric Dampier, a great rebounder, sealed off completely on that play. I just looked up the box score, and Tyson had 8 offensive boards. He has a lot of opportunities to go for 10 tonight against a weak rebounding team in Houston.
HUGE win for the Bulls on the road. Ended that little losing streak they had going and got themselves back in the win column. Great game tonight by Deng, going for 30/11, becoming only the second rookie this season to score 30 in a game (the other being Chicago's Ben Gordon). This should be big for the Bulls, won a huge game on the road, proving to everyone that they can beat good teams on the road, and it should also help their confidence for the rest of their season. As long as this team can continue to keep winning on the road and proving to everyone and themselves they can, I think this will be a tough team to beat down the road. Great win in Dallas, and lets keep it up tonight vs. Houston.
I'm excited to see how good Deng will become. I know I've heard people whisper that he reminds them of Grant Hill and I guess we can only hope. Just feels so good to know this team has a future and it's not too far off from being the present.
Given Luol Deng is a great talent and his smarts on and off the court will really help out in leadership qualities. This is what makes Luol Deng so valuable to the Bulls who have such a young roster put together. But I wish everyone would stop saying who is the next what. Putting those types of monikers onto players makes no sense. For instance what I want to see is the first Luol Deng and the first LeBron James, not the next Grant Hill and Michael Jordan. If you mean by popularity and stardom that still doesn't make any sense because each generation brings a new populous filled with stars. Respect comes from being different, not trying to be someone you're not.

Saying he reminds someone of Grant Hill is just a method of picturing the type of skills and potential he may have. There's a slight difference there as when you are saying someone is the "next" of someone else then they'll be exactly like that person. Comparing their game to another player is just that. It leaves it open for them to be something better or even worse.
