<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Now that the draft is over, the Bulls can turn their attention to free agency. The players they are able to bring in might affect whether some of their incumbent players are back.

The Bulls picked up their option on forward Malik Allen on Thursday, and general manager John Paxson will make a decision on forward Othella Harrington's option by mid-July.

"We have to see what we can do in free agency,'' Paxson said. "That may not allow us to keep him.''

As for second-year guard Eddie Basden, the Bulls do not have to tell him their plans for him at this point.

"He has a contract that's make-good in October, so we don't have to make a decision on him yet,'' Paxson said. "He'll play in the summer league for us. Luke [Schenscher] is going to play in the summer league, too.''

NBA rules allow teams to contact free agents beginning Saturday, but free agents cannot be signed until July 12.</div>

Nice, I wanted him back. I like what he does for this team. When he starts he knocks down his jumpshots and gets boards, and does the same thing of the bench.

I hope we keep Harrington as well, I like him although he is similar to Malil Allen, they can start and play well for a few minutes before never being seen again.

Personally I dont think we should keep othellla. He misses alot seems like he wastes possession with bad shots. Also hes got bad knees if i remember correctly.

I’m happy we are bringing back Allen. He is one of those veteran players, one of the few on the team, that knows his role. He does not complain about minutes, and is a work horse. His jumper from mid range is almost automatic. I’m glad we kept him he showed a lot last season in the minutes he got. Hopefully, he doesn’t go into next season as a starter though. What surprised me about the article is that we are actually considering picking up the option on Eddie Basden. I loved this pickup when we signed him, after going undrafted. However, he showed absolutely nothing this season, even spending some time in the developmental league. With the signing of Sefolosha and the kid we acquired from Portland. I don’t see any way he has a roster spot next year.

I doubt Basden will be back either. It doesnt make sense to keep him now. Unless theres something Paxson knows that we dont know. As you say BKS, in Paxson we trust or something a rather...
