<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CHICAGO - (KRT) - The Bulls and representatives for Eddie Robinson have reached an agreement on a buyout for the forgotten forward, according to two league sources.

Neither Robinson, his agents nor Bulls general manager John Paxson would comment on the agreement, which will be announced Monday when final rosters are set.

A source familiar with the negotiations said Robinson will receive $10.2 million of the $14.05 million remaining on his five-year, $31.2 million contract that runs through 2005-06.

The team and Robinson's representatives still are negotiating such details as continuing health insurance and retirement plan benefits until Robinson lands another job. A league source indicated Miami already has expressed interest in offering Robinson a non-guaranteed contract.

The buyout ends a rocky relationship few could have predicted when former general manager Jerry Krause signed Robinson in August 2001, shortly after his dominant playoff performance for Charlotte against Miami.</div>

Finally, E-Rob's out of town! He won't serve as a distraction on the team anymore. Great move. [IMG]

Yeah great move... he is one of those guys who get too fat after signing a secured contract. He's playing for money not for love of basketball. But considering all those millions and most of us humans are greedy, who can blame him? Hopefully getting rid of him really improves the atmosphere in Bulls locker room.

Not a minute too soon I am so tired of this sissy bitch "Ow my toe hurts " shut you sissy. He never did one good thing for the Bulls while he was there and he only served as a reminder of how badly Jerry Krause screwed up after the break up of the Jordan era Bulls. Good riddance to both of them and let the healing begin.

I think BullsFan will face the consequences for this post, yikes. And if you were in his situation don't even say you wouldn't think about what he did.

Hopefully, this move turns out to be a good one for the Bulls which I think it will from what I've seen Eddie didnt do much off the bench for us and when he got his chance he blew it, Eddie could probably be a much better player if he was in a better situation like on a team that needed him.

it wasn't e-robs fault, skiles just didn't like him, so he didn't play him. e-rob has a pretty good jump shot and is very athletic. i don't know how he's suppossed to perform from the bench. the bulls should have played him more, last year he probably should have started. the bulls obviously overpaid him to begin with, they paid him 10 mil for being a cheerleader? wow..

i never liked his game that much, but if you paid him so much at least you should let the guy play when he was on the team. time to move on..

holyace2k2, even before Skiles came, he was in coach Bill Cartwright's doghouse. His shooting was way too inconsistent to earn him starter minutes. But, nobody really could say anything real bad about him not being a starter because Jalen Rose used to be there playing his position.

yeah and not only that but
now it give Deng some more playing time
off the bench and The Bulls can still add
another young player to their roster.

Im glad Robinson is outta here. He was a huge flop here in Chicago. Good move by Paxson though, now we got another roster spot!
