(Phoenix owned the rights to Chicago?s first round pick, 21st overall, after the Suns and Bulls draft night trade two years ago that sent Jackson Vroman to Phoenix for Luol Deng and a future conditional first round selection.) This year, Chicago also owns the rights to New York's draft pick due to the Eddy Curry trade. The Knicks' pick will be no worse than the fifth overall selection. Yes, we certainly did cash in on Thomas. We're picking 2 and 16 this year and more than likely in the lottery again next year.
