RECAP. James Posey is looking like a good addition for the Memphis Grizzlies. Posey scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Grizzlies to a 93-89 victory over the Chicago Bulls in both teams' final preseason game on Thursday. Pau Gasol added 17 points and seven boards for the Grizzlies, who finished their exhibition slate with six wins in seven games. Wesley Person had 13 points and rookie Troy Bell chipped in with 12. The Bulls trailed almost all the way but made it close with a surge late in the fourth quarter. Marcus Fizer led Chicago with 23 points, while Jamal Crawford had 21. Eddy Curry had the game's only double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago finished its preseason at 4-3. The Bulls open their season against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, while the Grizzlies play the Boston Celtics next Friday. Stromile Swift, Earl Watson, Mike Miller, rookie Dahntay Jones and Michael Dickerson did not play for Memphis, while Jalen Rose and Tyson Chandler did not play for Chicago.
