The Bulls will be without two starters, Andres Nocioni and Ben Wallace, and Malik Allen is still out. Hopefully we can finally get a win.. who do you guys think will take their places? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Wallace has sore back, Nocioni suspended CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls were without starters Andres Nocioni and Ben Wallace when they faced the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Nocioni was suspended for one game by the NBA for elbowing New Jersey's Mikki Moore on Thursday. Wallace missed the game with a sore back. Wallace was scoreless with six rebounds while struggling with the pain Thursday. "The back is definitely the problem right now. It's a little sore. It is feeling better than it did the other night," said Wallace, who is day-to-day. The Bulls signed Wallace for four years and $60 million in the offseason, and he is averaging 6.6 points and 10.1 rebounds. Nocioni, who scored 28 points against the Nets, is averaging 16 points and 6.2 rebounds. Copyright 2007 by </div> Source
My guess before the game would have been Sweetney and PJ Brown. I believe it was Brown and Thomas as starters. Duhon was also benched and it seems to have paid off as Gordon has 24 points in the 3rd the Bulls are blasting Memphis - 92 - 57
wow Bulls win 111 - 66. I was kinda hoping for a 50 pt win but i won't be complaining. These team stats 59 rebounds 35 assists forced 25 turnovers 15 steals 11 blocks
Kind of surprising for the rebounds because 2 of our top rebounder's were out. But, Sweets and the bench did really well rebounding. I'm so glad we actually kept up a huge lead Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng did really well scoring in the first half, they didn't really play much in the 2nd half. Tyrus Thomas needs to give the ball up in the backcourt and not handle the ball because he gets out of control and either turns the ball over or gets an offensive foul. And he needs to look at the court when he gets the ball because he still goes way to fast. Awesome block on Gasol though. Did you guys see how high Gordon got in the first when he tried to block Damon's shot?
All I have to say is...wow. PJ was a beast defensively tonight, looking like Ben Wallace with his 5 blocks. We completely obliterated them on the boards. To say the least, we shut them down. I don't think they really ever stood a chance tonight, and I was very happy to see us hold onto our lead, and not just hold it, but increase it. Hopefully we can keep rolling like this, that'd be nice.
This is the type of game to give them confidence for a few runs. They should thrive off of this big win. Again I'm sorry for my not-so-detailed analysis, but I'm busy until next week. I'll be posting upcoming game thread with details when I'm free at the time. I miss covering our boys.
