Can the Bulls go for the unprecedented four game winning streak against the Lakers? Ben Gordon is due for a big game, but Kobe is a pretty good defender, so the due game will probably be against the Wizards. I think our current rotation (Rose, Gordon, Salmons, Thomas, Noah, Hinrich, Thomas, and Miller) can hang with anyone in the league, except probably a healthy Celtics team. Lakers are still a slight favorite to win in my book, but given how we've played at home, I wouldn't be shocked if we beat them. Especially if Gordon goes off for his due game.
I'm more worried about Salmons than Gordon. Johnny the Fish always has good games against us, or at least it always seems that way.
HAHAHA you just couldn't wait to unleash your new nickname for him. The Bulls have a decent chance to beat LA with how decent they've been playing. I always get worried when their off for more than one night though, they seem lose their intensity.
Are the Bulls trying to make Kobe look good? Why else would you have the worst defender on him? Maybe they should watch the D wade 50 point game as a reminder of how this will work out.
Noah has to pass it out to Gordon on that. Eventually he's going to start making his threes if he gets enough of them wide open. Need to just calm down and make our shots. We knew the Lakers would come out to make a run in the third. If we weather the storm, the Laker swill fold up their tent early and go home to save energy for the rest of the road trip≥
Yup. Had me worried there for a second. John Salmons and Brad Miller trade will do wonders for you guys. Salmons is a scoring machine. Derrick Rose had a great game as well, he's gonna be a beast in the future. Like huevon said, I have nothing bad to say to guys. Bulls are gonna be a threat in the playoffs with all the weapons they have.
We would have won if Gordon made all those open threes. We aren't going to win many games when Gordon misses like 5 open threes. Called this one before hand, in my twitter update Still disappointing to lose when we were playing so well, and had them on the ropes.
I just looked at the box score. We shut down Kobe. He shot only 47 TS%. He had 28 points, but it was very inefficient. Pau was solid scoring efficiency wise (56%)...but we really got killed by 1. Our turnovers, gave them too many opportunities. and 2. Their role players sunk their three point shots.
