Well, this article came out before he got injured (yesterday), but I had school work to tend to, so yeah. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=339620 Have to agree with Burke here. I'm someone who doesn't think it's right to boo any player. We, as people, need to show some humanity. Now, I know Dion has that enormous contract, but it's done, and he's in Toronto, and frankly, this team isn't wussy anymore. I got tired of how they were getting pushed around by all the teams after the lockout ended and the gritty Leafs were falling away. Dion hasn't been at his best, but he'd only 25 years old and is trying to work himself into his new role. We're only 11 games into the year people. He wears the maple leaf with pride. It's about time. Time to show some decency.
I agree, why boo your own player? Its stupid, and especially in a case like this when that player has done a lot for your community.
