Congrats, W. The Dems already hate you, and now fiscal conservatives like me who voted for you hate you as well. I wonder if he's trying to get his approval rating into single digits? I'm done with politics. When the two guys running for President vote to redistribute MY MONEY to cover for their own ineptitude, and when the current President then signs the bill, I may as well just not vote. Now Arnie's asking for a bailout for his bankrupt state, the media are already saying this $850 billion is just a "starter" bill, and the dollar is going to tank faster than one can say "peso". I think I'll transfer my savings and put it into something like gold. Or maybe the Euro. Anything but our now soon-to-be worthless dollar.
I agree and and I also sometimes wonder why I even vote. It is bad enough with the 700B bailout bill but they had to add another 150B of pork to really stink it up. There is something wrong with the congress and the way they work. I wish we could fire all of them and start over but that will never happen. Maybe even send a few of them to jail.
