Does anyone have any suggestions for a business idea for a company? I'm mainly interested in selling products, mostly to other students but if you can come up with anything that companies would buy, that would be good too. The idea should not be too complicated, and should be pretty cheap to buy, something that yourself might be interested in buying. Thanks!
If you're targeting students try photcopying university textbooks and selling them for way cheaper. You might have to do it off campus, but it's easy to spread the word and there's nothing in higher demand.
Wudup, I am also a part of Bahirs crew trying to create a small franchise with a rather easy business idea. Our target is the youth 17-20 years of age. We'd like to have a product. Does anyone of you know of a nice website in which you can buy CHEAP, rather unknown useful stuff, and sell a bit more expensive. One idea we had was: Selling waste bins with prints on. Prints, designed by us on the customers' desire, or we'd make the design ourselves. This is an assignment every class in senior year (HS), economyclass students have. So to mention other ideas (which are old and already made 1000x); Prints on T-shirts/Sweatshirts, Belts with names carved in and similiar things. <u>NOTE:</u> We live in Sweden so whatever site or product you mention will be quite unknown for our soon to be costumers! Let yours ideas flow and we're very thankful for your cooperation. Signed, Vice President Andr? K. (Bahir's gonna kill me for naming myself as the boss)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TimmyDMVP:</div><div class="quote_post">Agree i would buy, i just spent over 400 dollars on 5 books</div> Nice idea, ... in the states. In Sweden, and the people we are targeting, go to HS, and books here are free to borrow as long as you are attending a programme. So, nice idea but it will not work in our society xP Thank you once again, and keep the ideas commin... ps. Isn't photocopying a textbook illegal if you don't have the permission to photocopy it from the publisher of the book? Atleast in Sweden it is.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting arre:</div><div class="quote_post">ps. Isn't photocopying a textbook illegal if you don't have the permission to photocopy it from the publisher of the book? I thought you guys just wanted to make some quick money, because, even though it's illegal, no one checks it and generally university students are pretty good customers. I know a friend who went to Concordia (Montreal) that did that exact thing for years. If you're looking for something for a school project, I don't recommend it.
My friend is a warehouse distributor for after market car parts for domestic and imports. I know it's hard to find car parts in Europe, so there's a lot of money in it.
It's not going to be a huge deal. The point is to eventually set up a stand at an event so people can come and hopefully find interest in what we're selling. It's also a school-assignment. If you are aware of a website which sells cheap and fun stuff which are rare, please, let us know
Home-made porno? It shouldn't be THAT expensive to make. Try selling wristbands or t-shirts or something.
Do you think it would be hard for a programmer to make a program that automatically sends text messages (SMS) to (several) cellphones, with information that you put into the program?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting arre:</div><div class="quote_post">That is actually a good Idea, i'll consider it, but please keep em?commin!</div> Our school did this and raised a helluva lot of money. Make sure you buy several colors though so that customers will purchase more than one.
