I just wanted some feelings on Kwame..do you think he will be a bust like Joe Smith..or will he turn into the Jermaine Oneal he is compared to? I personally think he will have a decent year this year..15 and 9 because it is a contract year for him, and then i really expect him to explode the year after that...22 and 10...I think it is very possible with the effort he has put into learning this summer..
Kwame will not be a bust, a bust player would not drop 30 & 20 on CWebb or play the way he did against JO'Neal the way he did....twice! Did anyone read that book about Jordan's comeback? It talks about how rough Jordan & Collins were on Kwame the moment he walked in the door. They crushed his confidence, an 18 yr old kid is going to make mistakes & screaming at him wont help. I saw alot of improvement from him last year & I expect to see alot more this year. He just needs to get comfortable on the court.
I think he is a bust, he has been playing for 3 seasons and playing more than 20 minutes and hasn't showed much I say he is a bust.
Peeps are always so quick to make judgement. He is just as far along as J. O'neal was at this age. He still has another 2 years before anyone can see he's a bust or that he isn't one. Sportswriters will write that he is one just because they need a controversial article for a deadline.
