Whoo, Butler for the preseason NIT championship and A.J Graves gets MVP! An amazing team that everybody's gonna be watching this year, I expect them to be close to one of the 4 #1 seeds in the March tournament. Graves showed amazing poise and a good awareness of where the ball is and where it's going, offensively or defensively.

Anyways, there's not much you can say about this Butler team except WOW! This team can flat out shoot the rock and play lock-down defense. Hopefully their preseason success will carry over to conference play and we'll see this team again come March.

The only thing I'm scared of his if they can stay healthy because they don't have much depth. I sure hope they keep it up unlike Drexel last year
I know everyone hates to remember this, but that Butler team reminds me a lot of Dick Bennet's Badgers in 2000 when we made our run to the Final Four: play suffocating D, knock down some threes, and ugly up the game so that it's close at the end and you can game plan and out-execute your opponent. Smart team, smart players, good basketball. Congrats to Butler, and I hope they can make some sort of similar run in March.
