Is there a way that we buy out Kidd and direct him to sign to a West team like the Bulls did with Tim Thomas while pretty much trading some of the same names, but for other players. via - Collins for Diop or something. Considering Kidds deal ends in two years, it still comes off our books then as well. I'm not to sure on how it all works but is this an extremely dumb idea or would it work since his contract wouldn't be so bad?

Then he can go wherever the **** he wants, for whatever the market will bear. He has already raped this organization by destroying its roster flexibility, insisting on stupid personnel moves, and being drastically overpaid, even if he hadn't been just going through the motions for most of the last two years. I may be willing to go as high as $1 for each remaining game on the schedule for the life of the contract. I would also have a press conference in which I announced that I have given Jason Kidd the opportunity to play for whatever team he wants, since that is what he wants most, and we're all about making him happy.
I thought next year's a player option. I'd say keep him, and let him decide. Let him put his mouth where his money's at.
