    Just seen Marlon Byrd handed a 162 game suspension for drug use. Old Dead Boys line "every one knows you've been caught with the meat in your mouth. Old folk song says "when will they ever learn."

    39, signed a minor league deal with Cleveland and made the club out of spring training. Naturally he made the applicable mea culpas to his team mates, organization et al. His time is over.
