Doesn't sound too bad at least, he just needs to be building up conditioning so he doesn't fumble passes like he did yesterday. He had trouble rotating too.

Nobody at this point is 100%.

Time to toughen up and play through the pain.

He should put something to decrease the irritation. Maybe some lubricant of some sort.

I don't know how much that would help. It is a pretty bulky brace.

He's going to have to gut it out. He's pretty tough, I don't think this will be anything but an annoyance to him.

I heard this brace that is bothering him now, actually helped when Marc Gasol fell on his knee in his comeback game against the Grizzlies.

Marc didn't really fall into his knee, he tried to do a spin move and kind of spun right into it. You could see Bynum stutter a little and tell he felt it, but he was fine after it. I doubt the impact of Gasol spinning into his knee would've done serious damage. If anything, I'm guessing it would've just been really fucking sore.

“He’s working a little bit too hard to get ready for the game,” Jackson said of Bynum’s pregame workout.

He just needs to slow down when he's getting position. Look at Gasol, he clearly isn't as strong as Bynum yet can establish quite solid low post position and is superb at handling double teams. For some reason it takes Bynum a while to get lathered up psychologically to handle those sort of double teams he was seeing in Game 2. He'll adjust, hopefully well before the Finals.

ITBand is an annoying pain to deal with, but if he takes a few anti-inflammatories and uses the stationary bike to keep his legs loose he should be able to play through it. However, if Bynum goes to the bench and the ITband tightens up it's going to be tough for him. I'm surprised the trainers don't have the stationary bike out there for him to keep warm.

It's not serious, but very painful and annoying because you have to constantly treat it with ice, inflammatories, and a shitload of stretching.
