<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Utah Jazz Sr. Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin O?Connor announced today that the team has assigned C.J. Miles to the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League. The Stampede has been assigned as the D-League affiliate for the Jazz and Seattle Sonics for the 2006-07 season.

Miles, a second-year guard, has appeared in 21 games this season, averaging 3.1 points and 1.0 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.</div>
Miles has improved this year, no question. Hell, he was even starting earlier in the year... and under Jerry Sloan. You know you have improved your game if Jerry Sloan puts you in the starting lineup, as a 2nd year player out of high school. Miles played in the D-League last year as well, and from what I heard, he played really well. Good luck, C.J.!

Now, more time for my guy Ronnie Brewer? Let's hope so.

CJ still needs time to develope, and by sending him to Boise the Jazz are hoping he'll gain some playing experiance. He was only in the starting lineup because of Fishers injury, and the fact Brewer and Giricek played like sh*t in preseason. He did do a nice job for a while, and I think he would have stayed a starter but it was apparent the Jazz were done rebuilding, so now they're just fighting for the best record in the league instead of fighting for a playoff spot; which they originally planed for.
