Inter might make a bid for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, according to President Massimo Moratti. The Nerazzurri chief admitted that he is interested in the Portuguese winger and Il Corriere dello Sport stated that the oil tycoon would be willing to invest up to ?35m to bring the 22-year-old to the San Siro. ?Roberto is Mancini thinking about Cristiano Ronaldo? The subject interests me, we are talking about an exceptional player,? said Moratti. ?However, he is a Manchester United player and it would be very difficult to sign him. Plus I don?t think it is an absolute necessity for us,? added the chief. Ronaldo, who is contracted until 2010, has already netted 15 Premiership goals so far and is admired by Mancini, who would be glad to have him on his side. ?He is a great player, who had already shown his value when he was younger, I knew he had great potential,? declared the Coach. ?Ronaldo is one of those footballers who can make the difference. Could he play for Inter? I would be thrilled if he joined us.? I think this proves that ronaldo is not going anywhere- all these rumours started by ronaldos agent are so he can get more money. Personally i dont blame ronaldo- he knows how good he is, how much he is worth and the fact that he could walk into any club side on the planet!!! I say pay him- because the amount of titles he will win us- will be worth it.
I reckon we will keep Ronaldo. He plays better for us and gets more games for us than going to boring clubs like Madrid and Inter where he will bot succed. He will probably join Barcelona soon but hopefully not till after the next world cup.
