link The Bucs have lost running back Cadillac Williams and left tackle Luke Petitgout for the season.
Williams is believed to have suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee when he was hit by Panthers safety Chris Harris following an 18-yard run in the first quarter.
He returned to Tampa with the team Sunday night and will fly to Birmingham early this week to undergo surgery from renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Petitgout is believed to have suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee one series later. He will undergo further examination today in Tampa.
"I just put my arms around him,'' running back Michael Pittman said of Williams. "I couldn't tell him it would be all right. Obviously he's disappointed his season is over.''

These are both huge losses but we are pretty deep at the LT spot (we have Anthony Davis who started last year and the rookie, Donald Penn). Neither of those guys are better than Petitgout but hopefully they can do a decent job filling in for him. As a big Cadillac fan, it hurts to see him held back once again by injuries. I really hope this isn't career ending and he can bounce back. He seems like a great guy and his only problem is that he's injury prone. While I really hope he is alright, it should be exciting to see how Earnest Graham contributes when given carries on a consistent basis. He has been phenomenal so far this season and I could really see him using this as an opportunity to prove he can battle Williams for the starting job next year and I see him turning a lot of heads. I don't think the Bucs are in trouble though. They still have Jeff Garcia and unless he goes down, this team will be fine. He's really been a great leader and has brought this offense to life, something neither Simms or Gradkowski could do. It's good to see a quarterback who can actually run with the ball. It's good to see a quarterback who hasn't thrown a pick this season because he's a great decision maker. It's good to see a quarterback with experience who can lead this team and even tell Clayton, "Get your head out of your ass!" when he isn't playing well. We're in good hands with Garcia and this team won't crumble as long as he's under the center (no gay pun intended haha).

Tough break for Cadillac, it sucks to see a young guy with so much talent have to battle with injuries so much.
