If this is true, I find it to be complete bullshit. I want to see Carwin/Lesnar, but not this way. I wanted to see if Carwin could be Cain.
I was just talking with my friend about how I wanted to see Carwin up against Lesnar so effing bad but we both thought Cain would probably beat him. Carwin seems like the closest physical match to Lesnar. I think it'll be a really interesting fight. I was looking forward to Velzquez/Carwin too though.
Meh, I am not too upset about this move, both Carwin and Cain will probably be the next two in line against Brock. Why kill some of the hype by having one of them lose before the title fight. Mamba's probably upset because Carwin/Cain was suppose to happen in LA
Cain is gonna be fighting Ben Rothwell @ 104... This move is surprising, confusing, stupid. Maybe they figured both Carwin/Cain would get beat up too bad and wouldn't be able to fight til the new year? GSP and Penn wouldn't agree to defend their titles @ 106?
Ok, think of it this way: supposing Cain/Carwin was still on, one of those two had to lose. So the winner gets Brock. Brock beats him and who is the next contender? This way they can have Cain beat Rothwell, build his name up even more, and then eventually challenge the winner of Lesnar/Carwin. I don't think Nogueira/Couture are deserving of a title shot regardless of how that fight pans out.
