Cal comes in wounded using their #2 QB, who can't throw well. Our defense is stout this far. If we open up the playbook a bit with respect to the run, we ought to cover the 18 pt spread. That said, Cal has a darn good coach and he will come with a serious game plan. I expect a 2 TD win.

Once upon a time this was the top Duck forum. Then new mods came in and ran off every decent poster and took it over for a few friends. Now they're gone too and it's desolate. What a true shame.

It is....I wish all football stuff would be here instead of the Blazer forum...even when the Beavs won championships in baseball it was only discussed in a basketball forum..MMA and the Yankees are the only other S2 boards that get any traffic

Maybe some of us can generate interest.

I'd recommend linking this game thread here and inviting some Duck fans from the Blazer forum...I'm not a football fan...will watch them play basketball in Eugene a couple times a year. My son will be at the game...he's a season ticket holder. Sly usually starts Duck football threads on the Blazer forum...he's on vacation now I believe but he could merge the threads

No. 13 Oregon overcomes slow start to beat Cal 17-7

When Oregon found itself uncharacteristically scoreless at halftime against California, senior linebacker Troy Dye took it upon himself to deliver a halftime speech.

The No. 13 Ducks went on rally for a 17-7 victory over California on Saturday night.
