The inability of Oregon to recruit a decent QB the last couple of years is frustrating. If Adams hadn't made the trip from EW, we'd have been stuck with Lockie. Who couldn't keep a the starting job at George Fox.
I remain optimistic about Mahalak & Jonson taking over next year and excelling... rumblings that Morgan has been showing well in practice. What has me concerned for going forward is LB play. The current set has obviously struggled for most of the season, yet the backups haven't been able to displace them. They'll miss having Buckner causing mayhem up front, but hopefully the wave of true Freshman DLineman (Canton, Rex, Drayton & Brown) can fill some of that void. The Secondary should be more solid now that the youngins have cut their teeth. The improvement in coverage with the position switches and having Daniels back has been huge... getting their best CB back (Seisay) would only help. STOMP
We've got some big games ahead this season. Depending on how these games go, the aging billionaire who owns the Ducks might want to make a change in coaching.
