    Dang, they've had some good years recently too. Brandon Morrow was a top 10 pick by the Mariners a few years back, taken ahead of Lincecum, which was a big mistake.

    California is damn near bankrupt as a state, which is incredible if you consider the natural resources in that state. I expect more sports to fold at other state schools as the country continues to adjust to the new economic norm of near 10% UE and lower wages.
